Aims of the project

The main aims of our partnership "The Rainbow World" are developing new ways of producing, acquiring and applying by work with different fields (red = history, orange = festivities, violet = habits and consumptions, yellow = tourism, blue = intercultural education, indigo = special needs children , green = nature and environment and white = multicultural education); exchange innovations in pedagogical methods and in education systems of schools participating in the project.

The purpose of our partnership is to identify and promote the elements of national identity that add to the European one, by consolidating its unity in diversity.

The globalization process and the need for a united Europe have led to new concepts and new identities that we now have to call European identity and European citizenship.

We intend to produce a logo, a webpage, the use of a weblog. A DVD and PowerPoint presentations by each colour of the rainbow.

The active participation of the students is assured by their focusing on themes of national values and identity during classes, as well as participating in school subjects creating a logo, a DVD and a webpage.

We intend to improve teachers competences by sharing the information (lesson plans, new tools and methodologies as a result of teacher's and student's cooperation)
